German Cabbage Kraut Rolls
- 1 medium head of cabbage, shredded
- 2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 tsp allspice
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- Salt and Pepper
- 3 tbsp ketchup
- 1 block cheddar cheese
Saute meat, onions, and cabbage. Add spices and cook until meat is just barely browned. Remove from heat and drain in large colander. Add ketchup and mix well.
Meanwhile, make yeast roll dough according to directions, using 2 boxes of mix. Roll dough out into fairly thin circle. Place a piece of cheddar cheese close to the size of the circle in the center of each. Top with a heaping 1/8 c. of meat mixture, pull 2 sides together in center, seal edges by folding and pinching out to ends; then fold the two opposite ends together in to center and pinch. Turn over on a cookie sheet to bake. Bake at 350 until lightly browned (about 15 minutes). Serve with ketchup, mustard, or barbecue sauce to dip. Enjoy!
- 1 jug apple juice
- 1-2 oranges
- Cinnamon sticks
Push cloves into oranges. Combine all ingredients into large pot. Let simmer on stove for 1-2 hours. Enjoy!
