Hot Pepper Vodka Cream Pasta Recipe
• 5 Tbsp. Butter
• 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
• 3/4 cup of Vodka
• 16 oz. Tomato Puree
• 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
• 1 cup of Parmesan Cheese, grated
• 1 lb cooked Penne Pasta
Heat butter and red pepper flakes in the saute pan until foaming subsides, carefully add vodka, turning the heat down if needed. Careful it can ignite. Don’t pour from the bottle. Cook pasta in salted boiling water, about 11 minutes. Evaporate the vodka for about 10 minutes.
Add puree and stir. Hold for about 10 minutes.
Add heavy cream. Heat to boiling. Toss over hot pasta and mix in Parmesan cheese. Eat Immediately.
Plonk Focaccia Bread Recipe
• 42 oz. Warm H20
• 2.5 Tbsp. Yeast
• 3 Tbsp. Sugar
• 3 lb 12 oz. A.P. Flour
• 3 Tbsp. Salt
• 2½ Cup of Olive Oil – divided –
Preheat oven for 425°. Combine yeast, H20, and sugar for 15 minutes.
Combine 1½ cup of olive oil and dry ingredients in a bowl with hook.
Mix speed – 1 for 2 minutes
Mix speed – 2 for 6 minutes
Let rise in oiled bowl for 1 hour.
Spread remaining cup of olive oil on sheet pan.
Spread dough and gently stretch to fit.
Rise 1 hour.
Put in 425° oven for 22-25 minutes.
Top with kosher salt.
